As per the latest news from varied sources, the leading processor manufacturer Qualcomm will assemble their Snapdragon 835 in Windows 10 PC by the end of this year.
“Our Snapdragon 835 is expanding into mobile PC designs running Windows 10,” and it’s scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter, said Steve Mollenkopf, CEO of Qualcomm, according to a transcript of a Wednesday earnings call posted on Seeking Alpha.
Both tech giants Microsoft and Qualcomm are collaborating in order to desing a thin and light weighted device that can serve user both a tablet and a laptop. The desinging ideas were drawn from a smartphone and hence this may be called as cellular PC by Qualcomm and Microsoft.
Features of the new Windows 10 ARM PC
The best thing about this upcoming Windows 10 ARM PC is its all time connectivity to a cellular network. Other features like Bluetooth 5 or maybe we can see a Wi-Gig, which are assembled in the Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The new Windows 10 ARM PC also comes with a long battery life. The cellular PC is also expected to support 4K video with Adreno 540 GPU in Snapdragon 835.

As none of the other PC makers as announced the Windows based 10 ARM PC. Hence, to check out the market demands a Kickstarter campaign will be conducted to build this 8.2 inches device.
Compatibility of ARM with x86 Applications
One major in front of the designers is the number of applications compatible with ARM-based Windows 10 PC, especially with the windows-RT. Qualcomm gives the commitment that all x86 applications will run on the ARM PC. To demonstrate this Microsoft shows Photoshop running on the Snapdragon 835.
Limitations Windows 10 ARM PC
The new Windows 10 ARM PCs will behave same as x86 PCs. But they can lag in the performance. The PC is not helpful to run applications that required heavy configuration.
Qualcomm is a well-established name in the smartphone industry. Moreover, the Snapdragon 835 has all the potential to run PCs. The basic point the Qualcomm want to prove here is to be an all-rounder in chip manufacturer. Qualcomm and Microsoft also working to design chips for the Windows 10 based smartphone.
