However, apples explain it users about the new face recognition and also tells how the FaceID works.
Q-1. How the Face ID work in face recognition system?
When u look up straight at the camera the Face ID uses infrared and capture a 3-D and 2-D image of your face. At the time when you unlock your phone, the captured photos are compared by the neural network present in the new A11 chip of iPhone X.
In case your is not able to recognize the face more than five times than it will divert you to the normal password mode of to unlock your phone.

Relax, as your face will not leave your phone.
As per Apple’s explanation, the iPhone X will store your face’s representation in its “secured premises”. The security premises is a temper proof hardware-based domain. Due to the presence of the neural network of image processing, the image will never your phone.
However, you can also lock and your secure your applications by face recognition. But for the Apple first, send a notification to the third party apps for their authenticity. Other apps “can’t access Face ID or the data associated with the enrolled face,” the company said in its security white paper.
Q-4. What are the problems With Face ID system
- Face Recognition is a poor way of authentication.
- Face ID feature is not for all people.
- Anyone can forcefully unlock your device by placing it in front of your face.
- It is out-dated as Samsung already launched this feature with its Samsung Galaxy Note 7, S8, S8+, Lumia 950 XL, etc.
